Kuber Mantra
Lord Kuber is the ‘treasurer of the Gods’ and ‘king of Yaksha’. He is a true representation of wealth, prosperity and glory. Lord Kuber not only distributes, but also maintains and guards all the treasures of this universe. Hence, Lord Kuber is also known as guardian of wealth. Kuber comes from family tress of Lord Brahma. He is the son of Vishrava and Illavida. Married to Kauberi (also known as Yakshi, Bhadra and Charvi), they have four children.
The caretaker of all the wealth of the world was once made fun of, by people because of his obese looks. Mortified, Kuber undertook severe penance to please Lord Shiva. Impressed, Lord Shiva appeared in front of Him and granted Him the boon of being the custodian of all wealth after which all men started adoring Kuber.
‘Kuber’ in Sanskrit means ill Shaped or deformed. So, as per the meaning of the name, Lord Kuber is portrayed having a fat and dwarf body. He is depicted with a complexion similar to that of the lotus leaves and His body structure shows some deformities. He has three legs, only eight teeth and His left eye is yellow. Lord Kuber being the deity of wealth carries a pot or bag full of gold coins and is adorned with heavy jewelry.
He takes the pleasure of riding Pushpak (the flying chariot), which was gifted to him by Lord Brahma. Besides all this, some texts also illustrates Lord Kuber holding a mace, a pomegranate or a money bag in his hand. Mongoose is often associated with him whereas a few texts also connect him to the elephant.
Kuber Mantra is chanted to win the blessings of Lord Kuber. One needs to work hard honestly and efficiently to earn money and the riches. Besides walking on the right path, by chanting this divine Kuber Mantra with deep devotion and gratitude towards the Almighty, one can attract wealth.

Dhanadhanyasamriddhim Me Dehi Dapaya Svaha॥”
In Sanskrit
ॐ यक्षाय कुबेराय वैश्रवणाय धनधान्याधिपतये
धनधान्यसमृद्धिं मे देहि दापय स्वाहा॥
Meaning : ‘I bow down to Lord Kuber who is the custodian of all the wealth in the world and the Lord of success.’
Benefit : Chanting this mantra brings in a lot of prosperity within the family who always stay calm and amiable among themselves despite staying in the presence of of wealth. One must stay very down to earth and worship Him. This Mantra also gives one a lot of confidence and status in the society.

ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं क्लीं श्रीं क्लीं वित्तेश्वराय नमः॥
Meaning : ‘I bow to the Lord Kuber who is the giver of wealth and fame and destroyer of all that is evil.’
Benefit : This Kuber Mantra prevents any kind of financial losses and makes sure one only profits in business provided he chant the mantra carefully and with full conviction.

Mama Grihe Dhanam Puraya Puraya Namah॥”
In Sanskrit
ॐ ह्रीं श्रीं क्रीं श्रीं कुबेराय अष्ट-लक्ष्मी मम गृहे धनं पुरय पुरय नमः॥
Meaning : ‘Ode to the Superior Lord Kuber, the partner of Goddess Laxmi to bestow upon me all the wealth and happiness of the world.’
Benefit : The Mantra develops devotion inside one for Lord Kubera who starts listening to the devotee after one achieves good levels of devotion. Worshipped together with Goddess Laxmi, Lord Kuber is known to give the best of blessings to the one who is really devoted to him.
Kuber Mantra can be chanted with devotion and fervour by those who want to get rid of monetary problems. Kuber is known to be merciful and also helps to remove the sufferings of people who chant his mantra with sincerity and devotion.
