Pretty Polly Mandala
Hi everyone,
I hope you all have had a great start to 2016 and wish it turns out to be a great year for everyone.
This is one my first 4am designs! I have been having a few Sleepless in Seattle Melbourne nights and when counting the yarn sheep doesn’t work, then I figured a hook and yarn might.
And it sure did. Well, not in making me fall back to sleep but coming up with this quick mandala pattern.

(The pic below shows how I made my first hdc in this round but feel free to make whichever way you are comfortable with. After closing the last round, I made an sc in the same st as the sl st. ch1 on top of that sc. This constitutes the first hdc. And then the rest 39 are made the normal way. To close this round, sl st in the ch1 made for first hdc. I have shown this in the 2nd pic below with the darning needle inserted in the ch1)
